Michael leads our Noblesville Disciple-making and works to create a dynamic and fun groups ministry. He oversees and shepherds an incredible volunteer team that connects with groups and outreach partners.
He has a passion for connecting people to Jesus and to community.
Katie Bieda
Carmel | Kids & Families
Katie leads the Kids Ministry at our Carmel Campus, helping design engaging, meaningful Sunday environments for kids and their families. She is passionate about partnering with parents as they guide their children spiritually and loves building teams that create a safe, fun, and faith-filled church experience. Through intentional leadership, creative events, and strong communication, Katie helps kids grow in their relationship with Jesus and feel connected at church.
Laura Casey
Carmel | Kids & Families
Laura also oversees the Kids Ministry at the Carmel Campus, helping create engaging and meaningful Sunday experiences for children and their families.
She loves partnering with parents to equip them as the primary spiritual leaders of their kids, and she’s passionate about building teams of leaders who make church a fun, safe, and faith-filled place for every child. Through creative events, strong communication, and a heart for families, she helps kids grow in their relationship with Jesus and feel at home in His church.
JOEL BURKHEAD
Carmel | Worship
Joel oversees the Worship and Tech Teams at the Carmel Campus, as well as helps produce our storytelling videos.
He loves pursuing Jesus in authentic and passionate worship using music and various art forms, using his creative talents to communicate what God is doing in the life of our church.
Ashley Ferris
Noblesville | Admin & Ops
Ashley Ferris serves as the Administrative & Operations Coordinator at Genesis Church Noblesville, where she supports staff, volunteers, and the church community by ensuring smooth operations and excellent communication. With a passion for organization and serving behind the scenes, Ashley helps create an environment where people can connect and grow in their faith.
Her dedication to detail and her heart for ministry reflect her commitment to helping people find their way back to God.
Jeff Gormong
Carmel | Admin & Ops
Jeff is the Administrative & Operations Coordinator at Genesis Church Carmel, where he plays a vital role in supporting the staff, volunteers, and church community. By managing operations and fostering clear communication, he helps ensure everything runs seamlessly.
With a deep passion for organization and a love for serving in the background, Jeff works to create a welcoming space where individuals can connect and deepen their faith. His attention to detail and dedication to ministry highlight her commitment to guiding people on their journey back to God.
TIFFANY HOWARD
Noblesville | Worship
Tiffany is our Worship Director at our Noblesville Campus. She leads our Worship and Tech Teams at the Noblesville Campus.
She loves getting to meet new people, and leading others in worship through music and the arts.
Zach Hibbard
Carmel | Students & Families
Zach is a passionate and creative leader who loves helping students in 6th–12th grade grow in an authentic relationship with Jesus. A graduate of Cincinnati Christian University, he brings both heart and excellence to student ministry—believing that creativity and intentionality can impact a student’s faith for life. Originally from Avon, Zach is committed to building strong, Christ-centered communities where students and families feel equipped to follow Jesus together.
CLAY HOWARD
Communications
Clay leads the Communications Ministry at Genesis overseeing our Graphics, Website, Photography, and Social Media. He also leads our Online Team, producing Livestream services each week.
He is all about working with all the different Ministry Teams to share what God is doing in the community through Genesis Church.
PAUL MUMAW
Lead pastor
Paul is the vision leader of Genesis Church. He is a part of our Elder Team as well. He oversees our staff and ensures that we are seeking the Lord in everything we do!
He gets excited when people get excited about their faith. He has led our church for the past 17 years.
JERRY NAVILLE
Carmel | Campus Pastor
Jerry oversees everything at the Carmel Campus as well as our Next Gen Ministries at both campuses.
He is passionate about seeing people build community with others and grow as followers of Jesus in their everyday lives.
Pat Pettyjohn
Executive Pastor
Pat oversees our Operations and Finance Ministry at Genesis. He gets excited about turning vision into action at both our campuses.
With a PhD. in Educational Psychology & Learning Sciences from IU, Pat is passionate about finding new ways to take data and implement positive change in an organization.
Dan Towle
Carmel | Groups, Outreach & Hospitality
Dan is the Carmel Disciple-Making Pastor Pastor at Genesis. He oversees the Carmel Campus Groups, our outreach partners and supports various other duties at the Carmel Campus.
Dan is passionate about theology and seeing people engage in their communities for the Lord.

Noblesville | Kids & Families
Alex leads GenKids at the Noblesville campus. With a background in education and a heart for ministry, Alex is passionate about building strong relationships with families and helping kids grow in their faith.

Noblesville | Campus Pastor
Justin oversees the Noblesville Staff, Noblesville Groups, and the Worship and Arts Teams at Genesis. He loves helping individuals grow into who God has called and equipped them to become as Disciple-makers.
Justin loves to meet new people and help them get connected with what God is doing at Genesis.
Kristin Towle
ACCOUNTING
Kristin oversees all essential financial operations at Genesis. She is responsible for keeping accurate financial records, preparing and managing our annual budget, and producing detailed financial reports.
Kristin is dedicated to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and transparency at Genesis.
Matt Wheeler
Noblesville | Students & Families
Matt leads as our Student Pastor at the Noblesville Campus. Working with Noblesville Middle School and High School students, he oversees the Student Leadership Team that leads the way in relational ministry at the campus.
Matt is passionate about connecting Students with fun experiences that shape their relationship with the Lord.
